Where are my keys??!

From the Mall of Wisdom and Identity

With the exception of a few
La muchedumbre walks an 8/11 beat
Down the tiled white as dawn catwalk
A cheap old shirt for comfort,
And jeans and flip flops for style
The skinny prepare the strut
The thicker just look above for the bold colored words
and roll their eyes away, can’t go in there
The odd sport Hawaiian shorts, baseball caps, and sweaters
The adolescent entertain themselves commenting
Walking and shopping is an enjoyment to most women
Most men are happy to sit and wait.

Observations are fun, but I was tagged by Vinceleste so here are the Rules:
Players start with 8 random facts about themselves. Those who are tagged should post these rules and their 8 random facts. Players should tag eight other people and notify them that they have been tagged.

I have a scar in the shape of a cross. I have dislocated my shoulders more times than I can count. In the fifth grade my best friend was the geekiest, skinniest, whitest Star Trek fan in the whole school. I pray for the health and happiness of those I love more than I pray for myself. I call grandma for an hour once a month on the first. Three more…The first time I fell in love was in the fourth grade playground; he was in the seventh grade and due to class differences it ended fast (faster than I could blink). Praying for everything I do in a Catholic school hit me as strange at first, but I really…dig it now. I have been rejected more times for publication, than I prefer to say in public: what’s up with that? I think at times it might be easier just to pay for my own product, but I rant and digress.

I am tagging only four people because I don’t want everyone else to get mad at me for the extra work, participate if you wish.
1. John Gonzales whose interview I still need to post for his Houston Chronicle blog
2. Jerry at Nuesion and Tu Mundo, cool photos and a friend I support
3. Maria Palacios, her feminist poetry rocks
4. the King of the Bongo, Szavanna’s blog

Thanks for this Claudia. it’s nice to know people more than the usual acquaintances with same people we knew, right? Just expanding our cyber-bonding :D

praying will always guide us in every decision we do, even in the tiniest and pettiest of all options laid before us.

haha.. that was so funny (about your best friend). If I had a bestfriend like that I could have described her worse than yours — a walking bond paper.

The poem above is so nice. You’re so prolific when it comes to these stuff. :)

ooooh, I emailed my friend your comment just ‘cuz :) LOL, you’re the left fielder, Bluepanjeet, the wit just comes out of nowhere and hits people in the back of the head! Please visit my site often! Glad you like the poetry. –cp
